Welcome and thank you for visiting the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) website for Texas State University. There are 31 fraternities and sororities under the supervision of the Dean of Students Office. Each fraternity or sorority belongs to one of our four governing councils; the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the Panhellenic Council (PHC).

Jake Negvesky LBJ Outstanding Senior



Congratulations to the Jake Negvesky, the 2019 LBJ Outstanding Senior Student Award.

Jake is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. During his time at Texas State he served as the President of the Interfraternity Council, treasurer of his fraternity, and a McCoy College of Business Administration Ambassador. He is a member of the Honors College and will be graduating this May with a 4.0 GPA.

The LBJ Outstanding Senior Student Award is named in honor of Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States and a Texas State Class of ’30 alumnus. It is awarded annually by the Texas State Alumni Association to a graduating senior as recognition for outstanding leadership, character, campus and community involvement and academic success.

The following fraternities and sororities are not recognized by Texas State University and may not organize any event, sponsor any activity, or participate in any endeavor related to the university. If you believe any of these organizations are operating as though they are recognized, including recruitment of members, please alert the Dean of Students Office at 512.245.2124.
